The Bower Retreat is a very comfortable, self contained four bedroom cottage, situated on 56 acre property, and standing alone affording guests their privacy. Backing onto a rainforest creek, cottage is situated in the quiet and beautiful Main Creek area, in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, 15 mins from township of Dungog, just a short drive to the walks and points of interest in scenic Chichester State Forest, and the magnificent Barrington Tops National Park.

Bower Retreat is the perfect spot to sit back and relax and enjoy the quiet, or explore the marked tracks on property including the rainforest creek, marvelling at the ferns and mosses, and then climb the timbered hill for a view of the property.

Cottage sleeps up to 10 persons and is suitable for couples, families and groups. The Bower Retreat cottage is child and pet friendly, with an enclosed yard to keep pets and small children secure.

For the children there are friendly cows to pat and feed. As well as chooks and other poultry to feed, and plenty of room to roam and ride push bikes. To cool off on the warmer days there is an in ground swimming pool on the property which guests are welcome to use. Also on site is a large, airy studio, where craft retreats are held, including patchwork and quilting, fabric dyeing, scrapbooking, and watercolour .

These 6 lovely ladies had their first experience of Main Creek. They were here for 7 night through the January heat but were highly productive putting together this great collection of beautiful projects as well as time for chatting, eating and drinking.
